Milk Droplets

Here are a few high speed shots of milk droplets (the semi-skimmed variety) taken with a macro lens, an off camera flash to freeze the motion and a hell of a lot of patience.  You will notice that remarkably some of the shots closely resemble another dairy product – an egg!

Up close and personal

Here are a few shots of a Meadow-Brown butterfly which conveniently landed on a pear discarded by my Grandson.

Damsel and Dragonflies

Here are a few shots of both damselflies and dragonflies taken at Claydon House a National Trust property in Buckinghamshire.  As per my previous post all were taken hand held due to the lack of tripod on the day.

Abstracts

Abstracts are not the norm for me but as the weather was very poor it was time to experiment indoors.

Flowers in Macro

Here are a few shots of various flowers taken with my Tamron 90mm macro lens.  Not being a purveyor of flowers, although I do occasionally purchase, my partner has confirmed that the line up includes a lily, gerbera, tulip, alstroemeria and chrysanthemum.  The minute details and colours not normally seen with the naked eye provide very interesting shots indeed.
