A Posing Swallow

Normally quite a difficult bird to capture, particularly in flight, this swallow briefly perched and posed for me.  Taken at Coombe Hill in the Chilterns, Buckinghamshire.

Birds of the feathered kind

A few shots of the birds and waders I have stumbled upon whilst out and about with camera in hand.  My favourite is the Red crested pochard with its stunning colouring.
