Night Time at the rockefeller Center

The Metropolitan Life Tower

Here are a few shots of the Metropolitan Life Tower located on Madison Avenue in New York.  Constructed in 1909 the tower was the tallest building in the world until 1913 when it was surpassed by the Woolworth building.

Flatiron Building – New York

Here are a few shots of the Flatiron building which, alongside the Chrysler building, is one of my two favourite buildings In New York city.  Built in 1902 and 22 storeys high, the Flatiron was once the tallest skyscraper in New York.  Although dwarfed by modern skyscrapers, the Flatiron is architecturally stunning.

Rockefeller Center – New York

Here are a few shots taken from the Top of the Rock Observation Deck at the Rockefeller Center in New York.  The deck which soars 70 floors high provides fantastic views of many of New York’s iconic ‘scrapers.

City of London Skyscrapers

Here are a few shots of the old and new skyscrapers that currently grace the skyline of the City of London.  It seems there is no ceiling on the concept of building to greater heights.
