Dohány Street Synagogue – Budapest

A few shots of the stunning interior of the Dohany Street synagogue in Budapest which is the largest synagogue in Europe and the second largest in the world.  Built in 1859 the synagogue serves as a reminder of the 2600 Jewish people who were killed during the holocaust.

St Stephen’s Basilica – Budapest

A few shots of the stunning interior of St Stephen’s Basilica in Budapest.  St Stephen’s is the largest neo-renaissance church (or Cathedral) in Budapest and can hold up to an incredible 8,500 people.  The church is free to enter (albeit you can give a small donation) and should be top of your visit list if you get the opportunity.
