Inquisitive Red Deer Hind

Image

Do you ever have the feeling you are being watched?  This inquisitive red deer hind was clearly interested in what I was doing or perhaps she just wanted to pose for me.  Taken at Richmond park, Greater London.

Red Deer – Richmond Park

I recently visited Richmond Park for the annual deer rut as I have done for the past few years.  Unfortunately I did not witness any rutting and had to make do with lots of bellowing and a few chases, which was a bonus.  I do enjoy the way in which the deer blend in with the long grass, it certainly makes way for some impressive pictures.
