Here are a few shots (from a boat) of Positano, a clifftop village renowned for its steep and narrow streets.  Glad I stayed in the boat 🙂

Cathedral of St Andrew – Amalfi Town

For a relatively small town with few inhabitants it was a surprise to come across such a spectacular cathedral.  The 9th century cathedral is located in the Piazza del Duomo, Amalfi, Italy and is dedicated to the Apostle St Andrew.  Little did I know that he was not only the patron Saint of Scotland.  The cathedral complex consists of the basilica of the crucifix, the cloister of paradise and the crypt which houses the relics of St Andrew

Trying to Impress

During a boat trip on the Amalfi coast, this individual obviously spotted my camera in hand and was clearly trying to impress, not sure if his female passenger would have been so.

Love is in the air

Whilst spending a couple of weeks in the stunning Amalfi coast in Italy we came across several weddings.  The stunning locations included Maiori, Amalfi cathedral and a ceremony held on the rocky Amalfi coastline.  The word ‘perfect’ comes to mind.
