Here are a few shots of a European lynx taken recently at Whipsnade Zoo.   I would have liked to have spent more time at their enclosure, however my Grandson was tugging at my leg and baying for my attention, so on this ocassion the camera lost out.

Common Buzzard

Here are a few shots of a common buzzard taken during a sunny afternoon at Western Turville reservoir near Aylesbury.  They were taken with my Sigma 150-500mm lens, obviously at the extreme end as the buzzard was soaring at high level.  They are not exactly as sharp as I would like but I suppose that is a limitation when trying to capture somewhat elusive wildlife.

Pink Flamingos

Common Caterpillar

Here are a few shots of what I understand is a common caterpillar taken with my somewhat underused Tamron 90mm macro lens.   An insect not often seen in my garden, it turned up late one evening so I grabbed the opportunity before it disappeared.
