You know your having a good day when an Osprey dives, snatches a substantial trout and heads straight towards your lens. Unlike 2019, all down to the wind direction being perfect on the day! The Osprey concerned is ‘T7’, a female who hatched on the 14 May 16 at Manton Bay, Rutland. All shots taken from a hide at the River Gwash Horn Mill Trout farm, Rutland, Leicestershire on 26 Apr 21. Nikon D500 and Tamron 70-200mm F2.8.
