Chilean Blue Eagle

Here are a few shots of a Guillermo, a Chilean Blue Eagle, taken at the Raptor Foundation in Cambridgeshire.  A very impressive looking raptor, I’m sure you will agree, and even more stunning in flight.  Look out for Guillermo in flight in a future post.

Burrowing Owl

Here are a couple of static shots of Basil, a burrowing owl, taken during a photographic day at the Raptor Foundation in Cambridgeshire.  Unfortunately, Basil was not in the mood to put on a flying display, however many of the other raptors did oblige and will be featured in future posts.  I am particularly pleased with the nice bokeh here predominantly provided by the vibrant rapeseed field in the background.
