She’s BEAUTIFUL but then again, I am rather biased when it comes to Bald Eagles! 🙂

They’re a thing I do miss about living in the US. In a couple of places I lived, they nested and could be seen cruising around scaring up a meal. Seeing the young heading out to find their own territories was one of the great feelings of promise I’ve ever had.

Thanks Maia, unfortunately the only opportunity I have to see these wonderful birds of prey is at the various bird of prey/raptor centres around the country.
