Here are a few shots of Buzz, a great grey owl taken at the Raptor Foundation in Cambridgeshire.  The great grey is one of the largest owls in the world and its most prominent feature is its almost perfectly circular face.

Bateleur Eagle

Here are a few static shots of Captain, a bateleur eagle, taken during a photographic day at the Raptor Foundation in Cambridgeshire.  Closely related to the snake eagle, bateleur is French for ‘tightrope-walker’ which is probably down to its spectacular aerial aerobatics.
