I went on my annual visit to Bushy Park, London for the deer rut, I initially concentrated on the red deer however, they were mainly bellowing loudly and chasing away any threats to their harem of hinds. A change of tact was needed so I went to another area of the park where I found a very large group of fallow deer. It wasn’t long before two fallow stags started following each other and eyeing each other up, then the battle ensued.
