All was quiet and then the sound of chaos erupted as the Red Kite was being pursued by an angry Crow, only on reviewing the shots did I realise that the Red Kite was carrying a rodent (no idea of species) in its talons. Not sure if the Red Kite snatched it from the Crow or if the Crow seen it as a chase worthy of a tasty little snack. All this happened in seconds, so who won? Who knows, as they both flew off into the distance. These are the occasions when you wish you were working in good light with a cleaner background.
