I have taken photos of bluebells in the past but only whilst ambling round the countryside. Therefore, I decided to visit National Trust Ashridge which claims to be one of the best places in the UK to see bluebells – I was not disappointed: Dockey Wood, part of the estate, has vast swathes of bluebells, both out in the open and within treelines of the surrounding woodland. I now understand why Ashridge estate is so popular, in particular the stunning bluebells. All shots taken with a Nikon D750 and 90mm macro, 24 -70mm and 70-200mm lenses.
