Wintry Aviemore

As Billy Connolly once said ‘There are two seasons in Scotland, June and winter…
in Scotland, there’s no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes.’
To say the weather in Scotland is changeable is an understatement.  Only 24 hours earlier it was a fantastically sunny and clear day, albeit crisp – a perfect spring day.  The Highlands in Scotland are beautiful (or bonnie) but even more so when the landscape is completely changed by the arrival of snow.  The shots below were taken at a desolate Loch Morlich, Aviemore, with the vast majority of the snow untouched.
