Here are a few shots of Bamburgh castle one of Northumberland’s most renowned sights. Situated on the Northumberland coastline the castle overlooks both the Farne Islands and Lindisfarne and is well worth a visit particularly when the sun is shining.

Scottish Wildcat

Here are a few shots of a Scottish Wildcat which is Britain’s last large mammal predator. Although they look very similar to a household tabby cat, these are super-tough, can comfortably survive Scotland’s harshest winters and are more than a match for large eagles. Unfortunately, the latest figures suggest that there are less than 100 left in the wild. The Wildcat Haven Project is currently trying to turn the tide in favour of the wildcat, aiming to increase their numbers to around 1,000 to ensure sustainability – more at: http://www.wildcathaven.co.uk
