Stirling Castle – Scotland

Following up from my previous post (link here), here are further shots of one of the most wonderful castles in the UK.  The scenery looking towards and from this castle is spectacular, particularly if you happen to visit on a clear day.  Needless to say, If you ever get the opportunity a visit is a must.

Stirling Castle – Bonnie Scotland

As it is the eve of the most important decision ever in Scotland’s recent history, it seemed apt to post the following shots of Stirling Castle which were taken during a recent trip to my homeland.  The castle is one of the largest and most important in Scotland and was the site of the crowning of several Scottish Kings and Queens, most notably Mary Queen of Scots in 1542.
