Cornflowers

A threatening grey sky cannot defeat this low level shot portraying the magical colour of cornflowers speckled with the occasional poppy.  This sea of blue was noted whilst driving along the M25 and had to be visited whilst the opportunity remained.

Here are a few interesting shots of chains taken with a 50mm prime lens whilst out with my Grandson. The chains were attached to various play park equipment.

Abstract – Milk Collisions

More fascinating shapes caused by the high speed collision of simple milk drops unseen by the human eye.  All done with a little helping hand of food colouring!

Milk Droplets

Here are a few high speed shots of milk droplets (the semi-skimmed variety) taken with a macro lens, an off camera flash to freeze the motion and a hell of a lot of patience.  You will notice that remarkably some of the shots closely resemble another dairy product – an egg!

The more unusual side of Venice

Here are a few shots of Venice which I could not include in any of my previous posts. The subject of the shots are, shall we say, atypical and somewhat abstract.
