Published this post six years ago today – hoping that something can be salvaged from this evenings disaster.
Notwithstanding the wonderful sights of Paris, this was my favourite landmark by far. For those of you who have visited, what more can I say? For those of you who have not, make sure it’s moved to the top of your ‘places to visit’ list.

So sad that I never got to photograph in Dec 2018, the riots were in full swing and it was closed off, now I guess I never will.

What a nightmare Blosslyn, very sad. Even if it’s restored it could take 20yrs.
