On a recent trip to London I came across Southbank Skate Park which was drawing the attention of many a tourist.  The skate Park, which is and has been a mecca for skateboarders and BMX bikers alike for over 40 years, is known to be one of the oldest in the world.  Located in the undercroft of the Southbank centre, the park is now under threat owing to the planned redevelopment of the centre.  Watching these individuals hone their skills is an entertaining break from the more predictable attractions that London has to offer.
