Tyneham Village

Travelling through the vast Dorsetshire MOD firing ranges you come across the ghostly village of Tyneham.  During the preparations for D-Day the unfortunate 225 residents were asked to leave their village as the military required more land to train the troops and test their weaponry.  Following the end of WWII the residents had settled elsewhere and no one was ever to return.  The village has stood still in time and allows you take a curious glimpse of the past.
