Notwithstanding the wonderful sights of Paris, this was my favourite landmark by far. For those of you who have visited, what more can I say? For those of you who have not, make sure it’s moved to the top of your ‘places to visit’ list.

Many thanks Mike, I hope I did the stained glass justice. Rather stupidly I did not have my tripod that day and struggled with the low light. These were the best of the bunch.

Yes, low light in such buildings is always a challenge. A camera that can deliver clean results on a high ISO seems to be one solution. Good work in any case.

Agreed Mike. I currently use a D3000 which is my first DSLR. I will be upgrading to a D7000 in the summer, so hoping this will further improve my photography. Many thanks

My Fuji X-E1 does pretty well on high ISOs. In fact my general levels are set considerably higher these days. Good luck with the new camera when it comes your way!
