I had the pleasure of staying at Flatdogs camp in November, 2023. The camp is located about a three minute drive to the gates of the national park. The tents are large, comfortable and clean, the food is excellent and the facilities all you could ever ask for. The best thing was the setting alongside the Luangwa river, where hippos, puku, baboons, vervet monkeys, monitor lizards are your neighbours. Living without the noise of traffic, televisions and the moans and groans of living in the UK, the sound of nature and nature only was a joy.
