Here is another effort at macro water droplets – a slight improvement on my last effort but like everything else there are always limitations, unless you have endless cash to spend on additional and higher specification flashguns. I used my Nikon SB-400 mounted on my Nikon D7000, as unfortunately my off camera extension cord appears not to be compatible with my D7000 (it previously worked with my D3000). Consequently, the few shots below are a result of 3 hours work and numerous missed and out of focus shots. Enjoy.

Thank you Harriet, it is most certainly hit and miss. Would love to have the water drop kits that regulate the droplets so you can get collisions etc but don’t think I could justify the cost and anyway it will soon be summer and the great outdoors.
